Student Fundraisers

What is the CHOP Dance Marathon?

Oxford Area High School’s National Honor Society hosts an annual Dance Marathon. All proceeds raised go directly to the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania to support medical treatment and research. Student dancers pledge to stay on their feet for the full 5 hours to raise money, honor, support, and celebrate the patients and families being treated at CHOP. Participants stay entertained through dancing, games and music, and the event finishes with a big “reveal” of the total amount raised.

 Student Dancer Registration and Requirements:

  • All students are invited to register to participate as dancers in the Dance Marathon.
  • Dancers pledge to stay on their feet, dancing the full 5 hours of the event to raise money, support, honor and celebrate CHOP patients and families.
  • All dancers must register on our CHOP fundraising website, create an account, pay the $10 registration fee, and set a personal fundraising goal.
  • Dancers are encouraged to seek out donations from family and friends, which can be made directly to the student’s account on our CHOP fundraising website.
  • Dancers receive an official Dance Marathon t-shirt to wear at the event. Snacks and water will be provided.
